Traveled all the way to Arkansas for this Senior. Little Rock has this amazing little park by the river.<\/p>\n

\nStone and rocks every where. This is my nephew Brennan. He has always been a quiet soul. I was there just a day or two after he was born. That first nephew. A little like a first child.
\n\"Senior2014-2\"<\/a><\/p>\n

We walked and talked and took pictures. I found out he smiles very easy even when he was unsure about this whole picture thing.
\n\"Senior2014-3\"<\/a><\/p>\n

He really warmed up to it after a bit. I think I could have clicked away all day. All this beauty.<\/p>\n

I heard the story about this park a bit. The Old Mill, also known as Pugh’s Mill, was built in 1933 by Justin Matthews as a replica of an old-water-powered grist mill. The mill was designed to appear as if it belonged in Arkansas and had been here since the 1800s. It is made largely from tinted concrete work over steel and copper rods made to represent wood, iron or stone, and features sculptures by Mexican artist Senor Dionicio Rodriguez.<\/p>\n

The mill was seen in the opening scenes of David Selznick’s 1937 movie classic “Gone With The Wind”, and is believed to be the only remaining structure from the film.<\/p>\n

I was really in awe of the whole park. It was breath taking. I could really see a wedding there. I was sure to tell Brennan I wanted to take his wedding pictures here someday. I got a really real smile from that comment.<\/p>\n

We saw some water moccasins coming right at me as I was at the waters edge. Not so fond of snakes and then to see them swimming at me was quite a terror!

I know I made some great memories here with Brennan. I know his future is in God’s hands. I see a young man ready to face what God has for him. I’ve seen him grow up and mature and surrender his life to his God. What a wonderful life he has begun!

I do love that I was also able to get a family picture. My brother and his wonderful family that I am so proud to share this gift of family.
